He was part of an experiment that emulated Wolverine's healing factor, a process that cured his cancer and gave him a powerful healing factor, but also turned his skin into something resembling a cross between melted cheese and ground beef. Now, under the name Deadpool, Wade continues to do just about anything he can for money (except male prostitution). |

She was captured by Deadpool and forced to live in his house, although over time, Al became more of a roommate and a surrogate mother than a prisoner, happy to have a rent-free place and all the Matlock she could watch in exchange for doing some chores and cooking. Now however, Wade has come back to her, except he's the one without a home and now she's the one in charge. |
