Fantastic Four

When an experimental spacecraft is bathed in mysterious cosmic rays beyond Earth's atmosphere, the four members of the crew - Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, Susan Storm and Johnny Storm - are gifted with remarkable powers. From that day forward, this quartet are known as... the Fantastic Four! Operating out of the Baxter Building in New York under the scrutiny of SHIELD, the team were reduced to a membership of three a while back when the troubled Ben departed in violence and acrimony.
FANTASTIC FOUR
Blessed with both a genius intellect and a romantic imagination, Reed Richards is an inventor of the improbable and an explorer of the impossible. As Mister Fantastic, his body is highly malleable at a cellular level, allowing him to stretch and contort to a remarkable degree - although in recent times, as has been the case on occasion in the past, his powers have been fluctuating alarmingly. He is married to Susan and is father to two children, Franklin and Valeria.
MISTER FANTASTIC
Married young, and rather shy and deferential to her husband Reed during her early tenure with the team, Susan Storm-Richards soon matured into a formidable heroine in her own right. As the Invisible Woman she can manipulate wavelengths of light to render herself or other objects invisible, and can also project powerful forcefields and projectiles of psionic energy, giving credence to the theory that she's the most powerful member of the team. She is mother to Franklin and Valeria and sister to Johnny.
INVISIBLE WOMAN
Arrogant, rash, yet still somehow infectiously charming, Johnny Storm is the original hot-head - so it's only natural that, as the Human Torch, he's able to generate and manipulate a field of fiery, superheated plasma about his body, and to employ the thrust of this flame to enable him to fly. With the departure of his friend and long-standing foil Ben, Johnny has been forced to mature in recent times, though he's still prone to moments of adolescent petulance and prides himself as a ladies' man.
THE HUMAN TORCH
When accomplished attorney Jennifer Walters was forced to accept a life-saving blood transfusion from her cousin Bruce Banner - the Incredible Hulk - she too was biologically altered by this exposure to gamma radiation. Now, as the emerald amazon known as the She-Hulk, Jen possesses exceptionally enhanced strength, endurance and resistance to harm; and yet curiously, in her human persona, she suffers from low self-esteem. Jen recently left the West Coast Avengers following a series of unfortunate events.
