In his time, Vance Astro became the youngest man to enter space and was sent to Alpha Centauri to colonize it. Because of the long journey, Astro's body was encased in a copper alloy bodysuit and his blood transfused with a preservative fluid. When he arrived almost a thousand years later, Earth had already colonized the planet. A man out of time, his psychokinetic powers had grown to an incredible degree and he helped form the Guardians of the Galaxy in his era. Somehow, he has ended up in this reality. |

After they were attacked by the Asgardian demon Surtur, the Korbonites genetically fused a warrior with a wild beast, a process that killed many of them before being perfected on Beta Ray Bill. Serving as their champion aboard his ship, Skuttlebutt, Bill came into a conflict with the Mighty Thor and was deemed worthy to wield Mjolnir. After defeating Thor in battle but refusing to kill him, Odin rewarded Bill with a hammer similar to Mjolnir, known as the Stormbreaker.

sentient robot guardians. Rocket Raccoon was one of these animals and
became the chief law officer of Halfworld. After aiding the humanoids
on Halfworld, Rocket left the planet and began exploring the universe.
Since then, he's become an adept mercenary, his weapons and demolitions
knowledge second to none. Stranded on Hala with nowhere to go, he assisted the Starjammers but recently left their ranks. |

Thanos destroyed their car. Arthur's daughter survived and Arthur's
consciousness was seized before it left his body by Mentor. Discarding
all of Douglas' memories, Mentor replaced them with a hatred of Thanos
and fashioned a new, humanoid body, capable of superhuman feats,
transforming Douglas into Drax the Destroyer. Recently however, an encounter with a mysterious being reduced Drax's power significantly and also wiped his memory clean of his entire life since he was abducted by Mentor. |
