Billy Kaplan is a small-time magician living in downtown New York. He is the team's leader and their reason for being. Utilising the abilities he was born into and his compassionate nature, he leads the team through every situation. Billy is able to control the entire magical spectrum, seemingly without the years of training of most magicians have to work through, but at the price of focus and control.

WICCAN

Teddy Altman is the strength and the heart of the team. Although the exact nature of his abilities are known only to Teddy and Billy, Teddy is Gamma-powered. His strength rivals that of a Hulk, but his nature is his biggest weakness. Teddy abhors violence and would rather settle things with words than with his fists - except when someone threatens the love of his life.

HULKLING

Thomas Shepard is impulsive, short-sighted and unfocused. He appears selfish, but is actually operating at a rate that others find hard to match. His super-speed powers bleed into every element of his life, causing what appears to be a lack of maturity. However, he constantly goes over all the angles and options as an element of his power. He believes that by leaving things to the last moment, he cuts through the complications caused by overthinking.

SPEED

Kate Bishop comes from an influential and wealthy family, who took her leaving school early and working as an example of the initiative and work ethic of her father before her. In actuality, her boyfriend, Speed, pays her wages and she spends each day training her mind and body in the use of weaponry and strategy. She is the driving force behind the team. While Kate displays no powers, she displays aptitude in swordplay, archery and martial arts.

KATE BISHOP

Cassie Lang is the daughter of Ant-Man. Gifted, unusually, with the ability to both drastically decrease her size and expand it, she is the best friend of Kate and Billy. The go-to girl for advice, Cassie has a strong mind and a blunt way of setting things right. Her opinion is always wise and well thought, and she is often the backbone of reason for the group.

STATURE

Tarene is thought to be of an evolutionary offshoot from the Asgardians and believes that she is an Asgardian herself. Billy believes she's just a meta-human with a big hammer and a lot of strength. Regardless of what she is and what she isn't, Tarene is a self-absorbed individual, more obsessed with boys and technology and her ever-present desire to be right than putting her friends first.
